About Us

Colour my World by the Chicago band...
"As time goes on... We will all realize what we mean to each other... Colour My World with Hope."
As a young, 19 year-old-mother of a preemie, we survived the ice storm of 1976 with extended family moving in with us for a week. We adapted to change. We were grateful to have a generator to provide power for heat and electricity. We survived. Our skin thickened for we had no idea what lie ahead for us. Along came the 80's Farm Crisis which stole our past, present and future from us. Our family of seven transplanted to the west Madison area and reinvented ourselves into a premier family-owned landscape business. Striving to provide unique, creative design, skilled install and maintenance with relationships at the heart of each project, while appreciating each and every one of our employees as extended family. We were just coming into our own, a time for us to begin to reap the harvest from all that we had sown...when....
Along came the 2008 recession, followed by a drought, then snow less winters, and an $35K employee worker comp claim, and we were forced to downsize, move out of our beloved forever home on Brassco, and once-again, having to regroup to survive the ever changing scope of the landscape.
And here we are today. This time, we are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.
We were born to work the land, create beauty with the beauty which unfolds before us everyday. Landscaping is essential. If ever we need color and beauty in our lives it is now. If you are in a position to provide us with a thumbs up to conduct your spring clean up/2020 lawn maintenance/seasonal outdoor flower pot color installs/various projects/recycled metal art sculptures we would be ever so grateful. Our family thanks you. The community thanks you. Please stay well and support local small business.

Please feel free to email me any specifics. Last year, I noticed the Hydrangeas installed in the pots for spring looked amazing when we came back to install summer color. As a result, if your budget is narrow, I was thinking maybe we could install Spring color mid-late April and retain them through the summer (stretching your budgeted dollars). Maybe tucking in a few summer bloomers in and around them to keep color overflowing until Fall arrives.
